Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell was born in 1970 and is five foot nine" tall American actor. She played Dr. Juliet Burke, a character on ABC's Lost. Gia the Escape Clause. Joseph Day Mitchell's father is an attorney in Dallas and so is her parents, Josephine Marian Mitchell and Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell and her mom moved to Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell was in the school of Booker T. Washington High School located in Dallas, Texas. It is a public Magnet school. Mitchell is the youngest of three sisters the others being Kristina Kristie Mitchell, Helen Kristie Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. She graduated in 1991 of Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and furthering her studies in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint in the Encore Theater.
