Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She earned an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actress and producer. She is active in films theater and on television. She began her career acting in the theatre but then proceeded to be a part of numerous television shows, both mainstream and independent films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she was praised by critics and received a variety of nominations and awards including her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut in The Tempest as Ariel. On Broadway she was a part of the cast as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. When it comes to her film career Her most well-known roles are Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her work in television she has been praised for her part in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's police drama High Incident.
