Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's food is a way to get inside her world. Curiosity grew in her after she moved from for the Long Island suburbs to explore the rich cultural diversity of Los Angeles. Carnitas and Cavatellis on the same menu is her belief. With every dish she serves her vision that is distinct and speaks to nostalgia for the old. Motivated by her American-born Italian heritage, Lofaso established Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 that was immediately a hit. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian has been called among Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. Patrons say that they would recommend Scopa as an essential neighborhood staple where Lofaso consistently serves food that is inviting delicious and unquestionably satisfying. Lofaso worked as an apprentice to culinary masters, absorbing their techniques as well as taking risks. She did not hesitate to take risks to pursue her intuition. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and was able to transform various high-profile kitchens of Los Angeles while working closely with a variety of famous celebrities. Lofaso and Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to launch Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Her home was in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business alliances. The partnership would allow for creativity and freedom Lofaso longed for. Black Market doesn't have one distinct focus. That is their intention. The course could start with dill potato chips and shishito peppers followed by a lobster roll Korean wings, and then a series of meatballs. Antonia is the anchor for this bold array of flavours. In her long career Lofaso has measured her success with her exceptional ability to comprehend her audience while staying in line with her personal style. Apart from her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her uniqueness was also celebrated outside of the kitchen. She continues to impress on the screen as an CNBC judge, and as a recurring character on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso teamed-up in partnership with Penguin Publishing to create The Busy Mom's Cookbook - 100 Recipes of quick, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. The book, she shares her experiences as a mother and a pupil at The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that all her success is due to her passion of cooking and she is capable of keeping her finger on the pulse of the industry through her work on the kitchen. Through the Chefletics brand, she's changing the look of her field by redesigning clothing for chefs that is stylish and also serves a function. What matters to Lofaso is adhering to your vision with the intention of launching Antonia Lofaso Catering, which offers a more customized approach to providing clients with an experience that is uniquely personal.
