Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 in Meadville (Pennsylvania) She is her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one of the three siblings. Stone was in second grade at five years old. Her parents believed her to be gifted in the academic area. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her winning Miss Crawford County. Stone moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to pursue a career as models. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe, she lived for a year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe in the modeling business and decided to move into acting. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success when she was 20.
