Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born 31 January 1937 and passed away 19 January 2008, was an American film, television, theatre, and voice actress. Pleshette began her stage career, and appeared in films in the late 1950s. She later appeared in prominent films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette was an recurring guest on a variety of TV productions. She was also a part of Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City, on January 31 of 1937. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who performed under her stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage director at both the Paramount Theater and the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
